DJI Launches Osmo Pocket 4 With 1-Inch Sensor, 4K Slow Motion, and Over 100GB Storage
DJI has unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4, the latest iteration of its compact stabilized camera designed for video bloggers and content creators. While the previous Osmo Pocket 3, released in September 2023, introduced significant hardware upgrades, the new Osmo Pocket 4 retains the same core platform but brings a series of notable enhancements focused on improving performance and usability.
Enhanced Features Build on a Proven Platform
At the heart of the Osmo Pocket 4 is a 1-inch sensor, offering improved imaging capabilities compared to earlier models. This sensor size supports greater detail and better low-light performance, making the camera suitable for a variety of shooting conditions.
The Osmo Pocket 4 also sports increased frame rates, enabling smooth 4K video recordings at slow-motion speeds. This addition allows creators to capture high-quality footage with dynamic effects that were previously unavailable or limited on earlier versions.
Alongside these core improvements, DJI has integrated more than 100 gigabytes of internal memory into the device. This expanded built-in storage reduces the need for external memory cards during extended shooting sessions, providing greater convenience for users on the go.
Newly included film-style filters contribute to the camera’s versatility, offering aesthetic options that emulate classic cinema looks directly within the device. Complementing these visual tweaks are enhanced control interfaces and an upgraded lighting system, designed to give users more precise command over shooting environments and creative output.
Overall, the Osmo Pocket 4 aims to meet the growing demands of vloggers and content creators by combining a compact form factor with advanced imaging features and improved user controls. While it does not diverge drastically from the Osmo Pocket 3’s hardware base, the focus on software enhancements and expanded storage marks a meaningful upgrade for those seeking portable, high-quality video solutions.
Details regarding pricing, availability, and full technical specifications have not yet been disclosed by DJI.
