Asus Predicts Slower PC Price Increases in Third Quarter
Asus has indicated that while PC prices are predicted to continue rising during the third quarter, the rate of increase is expected to ease compared to earlier months. This outlook was shared by Liao Yi-hsiang, the head of Asus’s system business in Taiwan.
Slowing Price Growth in PC Market
The company’s forecast suggests that the volatile price surges seen in the PC sector may be starting to moderate. Although the overall trend points to continued upward pricing pressure in the coming quarter, Asus anticipates that the scale of price hikes will be less steep than before.
Market watchers have closely monitored PC pricing fluctuations amid ongoing supply chain challenges and shifting consumer demand. Asus’s expectations provide insight into how one of the major players in the PC hardware market is currently assessing conditions heading into the second half of the year.
Details on the factors driving the projected deceleration in price increases were not disclosed. However, industry analysts often point to improved component availability and easing logistics constraints as possible contributors to stabilizing costs.
Asus’s comments underline a cautious optimism about the PC hardware market’s pricing dynamics and may influence both consumer buying decisions and retailer inventory strategies during the upcoming quarter.
Further updates from Asus and other manufacturers will be closely watched to assess whether this trend toward slower price growth continues throughout the year.
Asus expects PC prices to keep rising in Q3 but at a slower pace compared to previous increases, according to company leadership.
