SK hynix to Invest Nearly $8 Billion in ASML’s Advanced EUV Lithography Equipment
South Korean semiconductor manufacturer SK hynix has committed to invest nearly $8 billion in lithography systems from Dutch equipment maker ASML. The substantial purchase agreement, set through 2027, centers on EUV (extreme ultraviolet) lithography technology, which is essential for producing advanced semiconductor chips at smaller process nodes.
