Samsung has expanded its lineup of high-performance displays with the introduction of new monitors under its Odyssey and ViewFinity series. This announcement includes several models designed to cater to both gaming enthusiasts and professional users, offering options up to 6K resolution.
New Additions to Odyssey and ViewFinity Series
The gaming-focused Odyssey series has grown with new models complementing the previously released 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) that debuted last month. The latest additions include a 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) and two Odyssey OLED G8 models available in 27- and 32-inch variants (G80SH). Furthermore, Samsung unveiled the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7 (G73SH), further enhancing choices for gamers seeking OLED technology in their displays.
In parallel, Samsung is also broadening its ViewFinity series, which targets professionals and creative sectors. The new offerings include a sizable 40-inch ViewFinity S8 (S85TH) and a more compact 27-inch variant, the ViewFinity S8 (S80HF). These models are expected to deliver high resolution and image fidelity suited to demanding professional workflows.
Although specific technical specifications, pricing, and availability details have not been disclosed, Samsung’s release highlights the company’s commitment to innovation across both gaming and professional display segments. The inclusion of OLED panels and displays supporting resolutions up to 6K underscores the trend toward higher quality visual experiences in both markets.
The new Odyssey and ViewFinity monitors aim to meet diverse user needs, from immersive gaming performance to precise color accuracy and expansive screen real estate for productivity.
