ASRock Launches High-Performance WS 360D Liquid Coolers for AMD Threadripper and Intel Xeon W CPUs
ASRock has unveiled two new high-capacity all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooling solutions designed for demanding workstation processors. The WS TR 360D targets AMD’s Threadripper CPUs, while the WS XE 360D is aimed at Intel’s Xeon W platforms. Both coolers are engineered to handle up to 500 watts of heat dissipation, making them suitable for high-performance tasks that generate substantial thermal output.
Advanced Cooling Solutions for Workstation Platforms
These new AIO liquid coolers reflect ASRock’s commitment to delivering robust thermal management options for workstation environments. The WS TR 360D and WS XE 360D are maintenance-free units, emphasizing ease of use without compromising performance. Each cooler incorporates a large 360mm radiator designed to efficiently extract heat from some of the most power-hungry processors available in the market today.
Threadripper and Xeon W processors are known for their multi-core configurations, which contribute to high power consumption and thermal loads. The WS 360D series is specifically tailored to meet these requirements, providing an effective cooling solution that supports sustained workloads, such as content creation, scientific computations, and professional 3D rendering.
While ASRock has not provided detailed specifications regarding pump technology, fan configurations, or noise levels, the claim of a 500W thermal dissipation capacity situates these coolers among the upper echelon of commercially available AIO solutions. This level of cooling capacity also suggests compatibility with overclocked or heavily loaded CPUs within these platforms.
Currently, the WS TR 360D and WS XE 360D models are introduced primarily in the Japanese market. Information about wider international availability or pricing has not been disclosed, indicating the initial launch may serve as a regional pilot before a potential global rollout.
The introduction of these coolers aligns with the increasing demands placed on workstation processors as workloads continue to grow more complex and performance-intensive. Efficient cooling solutions like the WS 360D series are critical for maintaining system stability and longevity amid these challenges.
