Gigabyte Launches MO27Q2A ICE: A 27-Inch QD-OLED Monitor with 280Hz Refresh Rate
Gigabyte has expanded its lineup with the release of the MO27Q2A ICE, a 27-inch monitor featuring a Quantum Dot OLED (QD-OLED) panel. This model marks the company’s first venture into OLED display technology for monitors, combining impressive performance specifications with a sleek white chassis.
High-Performance Panel with Advanced Features
The MO27Q2A ICE offers a QHD resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, catering to users seeking high-definition clarity without sacrificing refresh speed. Engineered with a refresh rate of 280Hz, it targets competitive gamers and professionals who benefit from ultra-smooth on-screen motion.
One of the standout characteristics of this model is its remarkably fast response time of just 0.03 milliseconds. Such a low response latency helps reduce motion blur during fast-moving sequences, enhancing visual precision and overall experience in dynamic content scenarios.
Adding to its credibility, the monitor holds a VESA ClearMR 15000 certification, which attests to its capability to minimize motion blur and maintain image clarity during rapid transitions. This certification reinforces the MO27Q2A ICE’s suitability for applications where motion performance is critical.
Beyond performance, the choice of a white enclosure gives the monitor a distinctive aesthetic compared to the predominantly black designs typically found in this category. This design decision may appeal to users looking to complement modern workstation setups or minimalist environments.
While pricing and availability details have not been officially disclosed, the MO27Q2A ICE’s combination of QD-OLED technology, high refresh rate, and ultra-fast response positions it as a noteworthy option in the evolving high-end monitor market.
With this release, Gigabyte adds to the growing adoption of OLED technology in PC displays, particularly emphasizing enhanced color vibrancy and contrast inherent to OLED panels, alongside quantum dot enhancements for richer color accuracy.
Gigabyte introduces the MO27Q2A ICE, a 27-inch QHD QD-OLED monitor with a 280Hz refresh rate and ultra-fast 0.03ms response time.
