Honor to Launch Robot Phone with Humanoid Features in Second Half of 2026
At Mobile World Congress 2026, Honor unveiled additional details about its innovative Robot Phone concept originally announced recently. The company showcased a working prototype paired with a humanoid robot performing a dance routine, highlighting the device’s integration with advanced robotics.
Although information remains limited, Honor confirmed the Robot Phone will become commercially available during the second half of 2026. The scope of the release, including whether it will be marketed outside of China, has yet to be disclosed.
A New Fusion of Smartphone and Robotics
The Robot Phone’s demonstration at MWC attracted attention by combining a traditional smartphone form factor with an accompanying humanoid robotic unit. This pairing suggests a new frontier in consumer electronics that bridges mobile communication with interactive robotics.
Honor’s presentation did not include detailed specifications or pricing, leaving many questions about the device’s technical capabilities and target audience unanswered. However, the live prototype’s performance points to significant progress in merging smartphone functionality with AI-driven robotics.
The company’s move indicates a broader trend in the tech industry towards more integrated intelligent devices that extend beyond conventional smartphone features. The Robot Phone may represent the beginning of a new category of products designed to enhance user interaction through robotics.
As the launch approaches later in 2026, further announcements from Honor are expected to clarify the Robot Phone’s availability, markets, and detailed features.
