The first major initiative within this extensive investment roadmap involves the construction of a $20 billion data center campus, dubbed Project Camellia, located in the state of Georgia. To power the data center, OpenAI will rely on an estimated minimum energy supply of 3.2 gigawatts, sourced from the regional provider Georgia Power.
