Samsung Prioritizes Battery Capacity Over Longevity in New Galaxy Z Fold Series
Samsung has introduced a significant change in the battery technology of its new generation Galaxy Z Fold smartphones. Moving away from previous battery chemistries, the company has adopted silicon-carbon batteries for all three models in the latest lineup.
Trade-Off Between Capacity and Durability
The switch to silicon-carbon batteries is aimed at enhancing the overall battery capacity within the foldable form factor, which often requires careful balancing between size, weight, and power.
