Lian Li Unveils UNI Fan Flex Series with Models Featuring LCD Screens and Built-in Flash Memory
Lian Li has expanded its portfolio of PC cooling solutions with the introduction of the UNI Fan Flex series, a new lineup of chassis fans designed to offer both functional cooling and visual customization. The series includes four distinct models, highlighting the company’s focus on blending performance with innovative features tailored for custom PC builders and enthusiasts.
New Series Offers Models with LCD Displays and Integrated Storage
The UNI Fan Flex series consists of four variations: the TL Flex, TL LCD Flex, SL-INF Flex, and SL-INF LCD Flex. Among these, the TL LCD Flex and SL-INF LCD Flex stand out due to their incorporation of 1.8-inch LCD panels. These displays feature a resolution of 400 by 400 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and brightness levels reaching up to 500 nits, allowing for vivid and dynamic visual effects directly on the fan blades.
By integrating LCD screens, these models promise enhanced customization options, enabling users to display personalized animations, system information, or other visual content in real-time. Complementing these advanced displays is built-in flash memory, which permits storage of user-created or preset fan animations and graphics, potentially reducing reliance on continuous PC connectivity for visual management.
The other members of the UNI Fan Flex family, the TL Flex and SL-INF Flex, focus on delivering cooling performance with a design optimized for system airflow and aesthetics, but without the embedded LCD panels. This provides consumers with options to either prioritize traditional fan operation or emphasize visual flair with the LCD-equipped versions.
Lian Li’s new fans continue the company’s tradition of innovation in PC case components, offering customization that appeals to users seeking both efficient cooling and the ability to personalize their PC build’s appearance. While specific pricing, availability, and compatibility details were not disclosed, the unveiling of the UNI Fan Flex series signals Lian Li’s intent to cater to an evolving market where hardware performance and aesthetic expression merge.
These developments come amid a growing trend of manufacturers incorporating digital displays and smart features directly into PC hardware components. The UNI Fan Flex line positions Lian Li competitively within the space of advanced cooling solutions and personalized PC accessories.
Lian Li launches the UNI Fan Flex lineup, introducing PC case fans that include models with 1.8-inch LCD screens and integrated flash storage.
